How to Make a Readable QR Code

Use a dark code on a light background and do not crop the clear margin. Long text creates dense QR codes. Increase the image size or use a shorter URL for longer content.

Higher error correction provides more tolerance for damage but can make the code larger or denser. Start with the default M level for on-screen use and test in the intended environment.

Static QR Codes Without an Expiry Date

The code contains your input directly, without redirect links or visit tracking. Scanning a URL opens that website, whose availability is independent of this tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do generated QR codes expire?

This tool creates static QR codes containing your input directly. The code itself does not expire, but its destination becomes unavailable if the website is removed or its address changes.

Can I encode Korean text or emoji?

Yes. Text mode supports Korean, English, numbers and emoji. Longer content creates denser codes, so use short text or URLs. Different scanning apps may display text differently.

Can I change the QR code colors?

Use a dark code on a light background. This tool disables saving for insufficient contrast or inverted colors. Test the downloaded code with your phone at its intended display or print size.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is convenient for documents and social media. SVG stays sharp when enlarged, making it suitable for print and design work. Both formats retain the clear margin around the code.

Are my URL and Wi-Fi password stored on a server?

No. QR codes are generated in your browser, and your input is not sent to or stored on Congdy Coding's server. Wi-Fi QR codes contain the password, so share them only with people you trust.

Can I change a QR code's URL after downloading?

A downloaded static QR code cannot be changed. Generate and replace it to use a different URL. This tool does not provide shortened links, visit tracking or dynamic QR codes.

Check the encoded content and scan result before using the code.

Search by title, category, tag, or question.
