  2. Choose the font, text size and color, or the image size.
  3. Adjust opacity, rotation, position and the target pages.
  4. Choose Open Watermarked PDF, review the result and download it.

Text and Image Watermarks

Use a text watermark for notices such as confidential, draft, a company name or copyright. Use an image watermark for a brand logo or a custom mark. Apply one type at a time.

Keep the Original Document and Add a Watermark

A translucent watermark is added over the original pages. The original file is unchanged and a new PDF is saved. Text watermarks are added as transparent images that preserve the selected font.

Supports PDFs up to 50 MB and 200 pages. Complex documents may take longer depending on your device's memory and performance. Watermarks do not prevent copying or securely redact content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my PDF and watermark image uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDF and images are processed only in your browser's memory. They are not sent to or stored on Congdy Coding's server.

Can I change the font of a Korean text watermark?

Yes. Choose Nanum Gothic, Nanum Myeongjo or Nanum Pen Script and adjust text size, color and opacity. Long text is automatically scaled to fit the page.

Is a transparent image background preserved?

Yes. Transparent PNG backgrounds are preserved. You can also use JPG or WebP and adjust the image's overall opacity and size.

Can I watermark only certain pages?

Choose all pages, the current preview page or a custom page range. Enter ranges such as 1-3, 5.

Can I still search and copy the original PDF text?

The original pages are not converted to images; only a watermark is added. Originally searchable and copyable text remains intact. The new text watermark itself is added as a transparent image.

Does a watermark completely protect a PDF?

A watermark identifies a document's source or purpose. It does not prevent copying, permanently redact content or encrypt the file. Unlock password-protected PDFs before using this tool.
