Frequently asked questions

Are faces detected automatically?

No. Drag over the areas you want to pixelate, or enter their coordinates.

Can I pixelate multiple areas?

Yes. You can select up to 100 areas, remove individual areas from the list, and undo or redo edits.

Can I change the mosaic size?

Yes. Set the block size from 4 to 160 pixels. Higher values make larger mosaic squares. Sizes use the original image dimensions.

How do I edit without dragging?

Open Add an area by coordinates and enter Start X, Start Y, Width and Height. Coordinates use original-image pixels from the top-left corner.

Is my original photo changed or uploaded?

No. Your original file stays unchanged and the result is saved as a new file. Loading, editing and exporting happen in your current browser.

Are outlines included or dimensions changed?

Blue area outlines are not saved. The downloaded image keeps the original pixel dimensions. JPG fills transparent areas with white.
